About the Role

Bluestones Medical is currently recruiting experienced and dedicated A&E Nurses to work across Aintree University Hospital and Royal Liverpool University Hospital.

We have a variety of flexible agency shifts available, offering the opportunity to work in fast-paced Emergency Department environments while providing high-quality care to patients with a wide range of urgent and emergency healthcare needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality nursing care to patients attending the Emergency Department.
• Assessing, monitoring and evaluating patients’ conditions.
• Supporting the delivery of timely and effective emergency care.
• Administering medication and treatments in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
• Working collaboratively with doctors, nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Responding appropriately to changes in patients’ conditions.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Ensuring infection prevention and control procedures are followed.
• Supporting the safe transfer and discharge of patients.
• Maintaining a high standard of patient care and professionalism at all times.

Requirements

• Valid NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Recent experience working within an A&E / Emergency Department environment.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient-centred care.
• Right to work in the UK.
• A satisfactory DBS check and satisfactory compliance checks.
