Bluestones Medical are currently looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and hard-working social worker to join our team for a new placement that has just been presented within a local council based in North Derbyshire.
If you are based locally to Stockport, Macclesfield or the Peak District we would love to hear from you.
This 4 month placement is with the “Prevention and Personalisation” team. This would normally be an office based position, however due to current circumstances surrounding COVID-19, the council is adopting a work-from-home model until further notice.
The post is with New Mills Prevention and Personalisation team but will involve home working whilst we have the directive to work from home where possible. This team works to support those in the community
Stockport Mental Health Prevention and Personalisation Service. This assessment service has been specifically created to support people who are or have recently been helped by the community mental health teams within the council.
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Experience of working within an assessment team, preferably with adults and mental health cases.
- History of working with the Care Act 2014.
- At least 1 years experience in social work.
- A valid registration with HCPC or Social Work England.
