About the Role
Bluestones Medical is seeking experienced and compassionate Paediatric Nurses to join our growing agency team to support services at Whiston Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled nurses looking for flexible working arrangements while delivering high-quality care to children and young people.
As a Paediatric Nurse, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide safe, effective, and family-centred care across a variety of clinical settings.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high standards of nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans
Administer medications and treatments safely in line with NMC guidelines
Monitor patients’ conditions and respond to clinical changes appropriately
Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
Work collaboratively with doctors, allied health professionals, and ward staff
Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
Adhere to safeguarding, infection control, and hospital policies
Requirements
Valid NMC registration as a Children’s Nurse (RN Child)
Minimum 6 months recent UK paediatric nursing experience
Right to work in the UK
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of paediatric care standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to high-quality patient care
Pay Rates
💷 Competitive hourly rates from £17.00 to £34.00 per hour, depending on shift type and experience.
