About the Role

Bluestones Medical is currently recruiting experienced Registered General Nurses (RGNs) to work across a variety of adult medical and surgical wards at Glan Clwyd Hospital. We have flexible agency shifts available, giving you the freedom to choose when you work while earning competitive rates of pay.

As a General Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering safe, compassionate and high-quality care to adult patients. You will work alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team, providing outstanding patient care while maintaining the highest professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective and person-centred nursing care to adult patients.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with NMC guidelines and hospital policies.
• Monitor patients’ conditions, recognise deterioration and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records and documentation.
• Support patients and their families throughout their hospital stay.
• Work collaboratively with doctors, therapists and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Promote patient dignity, safety and wellbeing at all times.
• Adhere to infection prevention, safeguarding and clinical governance policies.

Essential Requirements

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC Pin.
• Minimum of 6 months’ recent UK adult nursing experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Ability to provide satisfactory employment references.
• Up-to-date mandatory training (or willingness to complete).
