Hello everyone!
February has been yet another busy month as we’ve held IV Cannulation and Enteral Feeding Training at the beginning of the month and then our Manual Handling and Basic Life Support Training mid month. If you haven’t booked onto your practical MH & BLS training yet for this year, please respond to book – we have dates available every month until the end of the year that you can see below.
I have been out and about again this month over in YGC and will be heading over to Bangor in March, so if you have any preferred dates and want to meet for a coffee and a catch up give me a shout to arrange!

I’m looking forward to meeting more nurses in the coming month. Over the coming months I am looking to have a day in the office every other month whereby you can pop in, meet other agency nurses, share experiences and have a general catch up. (and as always anybody is free to pop into the office to see us anytime!)
Availability
I wanted to take this opportunity just to remind everybody to have their availability updated at least 7 days in advance where possible. A majority of shifts are released 7 days in advance and we see the community hospital, ITU and A&E shift being released at different times.
Hot Jobs and Referrals
I am still looking for nurses to cover nights over in Bangor for wards and A&E so if you know of anyone, now is the time to get those referral bonuses in. £300 for anyone who works 3 shifts a week or more, £200 for anyone who works 1 or 2 shifts a week and £100 for anyone who works ad hoc. You can choose to split the referral fee with your friend or keep the full amount yourself.

This month our Marvel of the Month award goes to… Sharon!
Huge Congratulations to Sharon our Marvel of the Month for Betsi – Sharon has been an absolute superstar, travelling amongst all 3 sites, referring lots of her friends and picking up last minute shifts.
