We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse – Endoscopy to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide exceptional patient care during endoscopic procedures, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients throughout their experience. Your expertise in anatomy and patient care will be essential in assisting the medical team and delivering high-quality healthcare services.
Responsibilities
• Prepare patients for endoscopic procedures by conducting thorough assessments and providing pre-procedure education.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall condition during procedures, responding promptly to any changes.
• Assist physicians during endoscopic examinations, ensuring all necessary equipment is prepared and functioning correctly.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols throughout the procedure.
• Document patient information accurately in medical records, including pre-operative assessments and post-operative care plans.
• Provide post-procedure care, including monitoring recovery and educating patients on aftercare instructions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in a range of endoscopic procedures
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures

Requirements:
• Valid NMC registration
• Previous experience in endoscopy rooms (scope-trained)
• Excellent communication and team-working skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible and adaptable to different clinical settings
