About the Role
Bluestones Medical is currently seeking compassionate and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs) to join our agency team supporting services across Aneurin Bevan University Health Board. With shifts available across multiple sites, this role offers excellent flexibility and variety for nurses passionate about delivering high-quality mental health care in diverse clinical settings.
As an RMN, you will provide safe, therapeutic, and person-centred care to individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health conditions, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high standards of mental health nursing care in line with NMC guidelines
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans
Support patients experiencing acute and long-term mental health conditions
Administer medications and monitor for effectiveness and side effects
Conduct risk assessments and manage challenging behaviours safely
Provide therapeutic interventions and emotional support
Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and community teams
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Adhere to safeguarding, mental health legislation, and local policies
Promote dignity, independence, and recovery-focused care
Requirements
Valid NMC registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
Minimum 6 months recent UK mental health nursing experience
Right to work in the UK
Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage complex and sometimes challenging situations
Flexibility to work across multiple sites
Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centred care
Pay Rates
💷 Competitive hourly rates from £17.00 to £34.00 per hour, depending on shift type and experience.
