General Practitioner – Ongoing Locum Sessions | Solihull
Location: Solihull, West Midlands
Rate: £90 per hour (Outside IR35)
Hours: 9:30am-6:00pm
Clinical System: SystmOne
Contract: Ad-hoc and ongoing sessions
Start Date: 24 and 28 August 2026, with further sessions expected.
We are recruiting General Practitioners to support a well-established training practice in Solihull, with immediate and ongoing requirements.
The practice is looking to build a reliable pool of General Practitioners for regular weekday sessions.
The Role
- 10-minute patient appointments
- One to two catch-up appointments per session, depending on session length
- Own-generated administrative work, with additional administrative time allocated where required
- Duty Doctor responsibilities on most days
- Occasional supervision of Foundation Year 2 doctors, Specialty Trainees or Paramedic clinicians, with dedicated time provided
- No routine home visits; only exceptional emergency visits where no other General Practitioner is available
Requirements
- General Medical Council registration with a licence to practise
- National Health Service Performers List
- Recent United Kingdom General Practice experience
- SystmOne experience
- Full compliance
