2024 Here we come!
I’m thrilled to welcome you to our end of year newsletter as I share highlights over the past year and what we as a company and community have achieved and are planning for 2024. For 2024 I will be sending out a newsletter every 3 months to keep everyone up to date of the work we are doing at Bluestones Medical to ensure quality service to our candidates
The energy around the office is palpable – we just can’t wait for you to see everything we have in store for this New Year! This promises to be our best year yet and I am overjoyed to have you along for the ride.
The past year has certainly posed challenges for the healthcare industry, with strikes and fluctuations in pay rates putting pressure on providers and professionals alike. However, here at Bluestones Medical we have remained steady and committed to delivering the utmost care and service to our candidates.
We are so proud that this dedication was recognised when we were awarded Best Candidate Care at the prestigious Recruiter of the Year awards. This honour reflects the feedback of the very nurses, practitioners and healthcare professionals we serve. Through regular visits and open communication channels, our team proactively solicits candidate input so we can constantly improve our services.
Specific initiatives born directly from candidate feedback included streamlining our shift booking system, expanding our benefits package and matching professionals with roles that align expertly with their skills and interests. We also optimised communication across departments to address candidate needs and questions efficiently.
While 2023 had difficulties, the overwhelmingly positive reviews from our nurses highlight our greatest strength – the candidate experience. As we look ahead to 2024, we are confident our exemplary service will continue delighting the fantastic professionals who entrust us with their careers.

The energy around the office is electric as our team brainstorms new and innovative ways to make your experience with Bluestones Medical even better. We recently sent out a feedback survey, which will be a 6 monthly occurrence to gain better understanding of what we can do better, so get ready for an upgraded benefits package, seamless shift booking, and the best job matching and pay rates around. We want to make it as easy and rewarding as possible for you to work with us.
We will also be looking into better and relevant training programmes to help develop all of our candidates and make sure everyone is aware of the great work our in-house Clinical Team do.
