Marvels, as you may be aware, we have been working away in the background to upgrade our app for you. We’ve listened to your feedback and our new app has been built with you and your requirements in mind. It’s been trialled and tested by our Marvels, and we’re delighted that we will soon be able to present to you a slicker, quicker, and more user-friendly app that works around you and your schedule.

The app will go by the name ‘Bluestones Scheduler’, and it boasts overall improved functionality and a fresh new look.

As Nurses and Healthcare Professionals, your busy schedule means that you want and need convenience wherever you can get it. We understand that you don’t always have the time to chat on the phone, so a simple, easy-to-use app that can offer you transparency and flexibility is what you need. We invested in this state-of-the-art technology in the hope that it will leave you feeling empowered and in control, allowing you to book the shifts you want when you want them.

Your feedback matters

When we launch the new App, it would mean the absolute world to us if you would download it and explore everything it has to offer. Its development has taken a lot of time, effort, and money, so your feedback would be VERY much appreciated by the team. Whilst we’re just putting the finishing touches to the app, we thought it would be good for us to answer a few of your frequently asked questions when it comes to using it.

Is it easier to find and book the shifts I want on the new app?

Yes! No more endless scrolling to find the shifts you want to work. The new app allows you to type in the Trust/location you want to work in, on the date you want to work, and it will bring up everything that is available for you on that day. You’ll then be able to book with the click of a button.

Will the new app allow me to view my compliance documents and check when they’re due to expire?

Absolutely, when you log in to the new app, you’ll be able to view all your compliance documents, check when anything is due to expire and easily upload anything that’s outstanding. It provides transparency which we know is important to you, providing you with peace of mind that your compliance is all up to date.

It would be great to be able to view my timesheets and know that they’ve been processed to be paid. Can the app do this?

The new app will allow you to view your processed timesheets. Again, we know transparency is important to you, so when you send in your timesheets, you can now check that we’ve received them and that they’ve been processed to be paid.

Is it easier for me to let you know my availability on the new app?

It is indeed. The more you can let us know your availability in advance the better, as we can get working away in the background to find and book you exactly the shifts you want before anyone else can get them. We’ve made the necessary changes to ensure that this process is easy for you. We always recommend letting us know your availability a month in advance and that way, we can make sure you get the work you want.

 What makes the new app better than the current one?

Our Systems Business Manager, Hayley Parry, has been working very closely alongside the app developers to ensure that it’s built with our Marvels in mind. As we’ve mentioned, it’s slicker, quicker, and more user-friendly, and all the changes we have made are based on the feedback that our Marvels have given us.

Empowerment

When you’re busy and on the go, our new simple and easy-to-use app will allow you to get organised and book the shifts you want that fit in around your schedule. You can easily tell us your availability and check any of your compliance documents. This can be done any time of the day, no matter where you are or what you’re doing, all at the click of a button.

Flexibility

One of the main reasons Nurses and healthcare professionals join an agency is for the flexibility it provides. You want to be able to work the shifts you want to work, at the times you want to work, in the Trusts/locations you want to work in. The app allows you to easily view what shifts are available on certain days, allowing you to build your work schedule, around your personal schedule.

Convenience

The feedback we have had about our existing app is that it’s not always user-friendly or convenient to use. We have listened and understood this, and we’ve implemented improved functionality that allows you to easily search for what shifts are available on certain days in certain Trusts/locations. You can then book yourself in at the click of a button.

Transparency

Your profile on the new app will give you full visibility over all your compliance documents and appraisal documents etc. You’ll be able to see if any of your compliance documents are due to expire and upload anything that is outstanding with ease.
