[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]As many of us are aware flu season is fast approaching. Seasonal influenza is unpredictable but still a huge recurring pressure within healthcare settings (Public Health England, 2019).
Although many of us are in general good health, we have a large proportion of individuals within society who are at risk of becoming ill, which in turn can possibly result in death.
At risk groups include;
- Older people
- Babies and young children
- Pregnant woman
- Those with underlying diseases
- Those who are immunosuppressed.
Flu vaccinations for health professionals are just as important as vaccinations for patients and the general public. Make sure you get yours!
