About the Role
Bluestones Medical is currently recruiting experienced and highly motivated A&E Nurses to join our agency team supporting the Emergency Department at Glan Clwyd Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments and are seeking flexible agency work while delivering urgent and life-saving care.
As an A&E Nurse, you will assess, prioritise, and treat patients presenting with a wide range of acute conditions and injuries, working as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
Rapidly assess, triage, and prioritise patients upon arrival
Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
Monitor patient conditions and respond swiftly to deterioration
Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions safely
Assist with resuscitation, trauma, and major incident care
Support medical staff during procedures and examinations
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Communicate effectively with patients and relatives during stressful situations
Adhere to safeguarding, infection control, and departmental protocols
Requirements
Valid NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (Adult)
Minimum 6 months recent UK A&E / Emergency Department experience
Strong triage and acute assessment skills
Right to work in the UK
Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays
Commitment to delivering outstanding patient care
Pay Rates
💷 Competitive hourly rates from £20.00 to £44.00 per hour, depending on shift type and experience.
