Are you a skilled and dedicated Scrub Nurse with a passion for Orthopaedic surgery?
We are seeking an experienced Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse to join our expert theatre team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment, assisting in a wide range of Orthopaedic procedures, from joint replacements to trauma surgeries.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Provide skilled assistance during Orthopaedic surgical procedures.
✅ Ensure a sterile field and maintain high infection control standards.
✅ Work collaboratively with surgeons, anaesthetists, and theatre staff.
✅ Prepare instruments, equipment, and materials needed for surgery.
✅ Assist in patient care before, during, and after procedures.
✅ Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital protocols.
Requirements:
✔️ Registered Nurse (NMC Pin essential) or ODP (HCPC registered).
✔️ Previous experience as a Scrub Nurse in orthopaedic surgery.
✔️ Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures.
✔️ Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
✔️ Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
