About the Role
Bluestones Medical is recruiting compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join our team supporting a specialist service at Meadowcroft Care Home.
This role involves working within a nurse-led, complex care environment, supporting adults with mental health conditions, neuro-disabilities, and physical health needs. You will play a vital role in helping individuals regain independence and improve their quality of life.
About the Service
Meadowcroft Care Home is a purpose-built service providing person-centred care in a homely setting. The service focuses on supporting individuals with complex needs through structured care, rehabilitation, and independence-focused support.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support
Assist with daily living activities including personal care, mobility, and nutrition
Support individuals with complex mental health and physical health needs
Promote independence and support reablement goals
Build positive relationships with service users
Maintain accurate records and report any concerns
Work collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team
Requirements
Previous experience in care or support work preferred (but not essential)
A caring, patient, and empathetic approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work shifts including days, nights, and weekends
Right to work in the UK
