Theatre Scrub Nurses Needed In Wigan, UK

Location: Royal Albert Infirmary
Rate of Pay: Up to £26.00 per hour
Shift Pattern:
Long day shifts
Early and Late shifts
Occasional weekends (depending on theatre lists)
The Role
As a Scrub Nurse, you will be working within a busy NHS Theatre Department, supporting a range of surgical procedures.
You will be responsible for preparing operating theatres, assisting surgeons during procedures, and maintaining a sterile environment to ensure patient safety at all times.
You Will Have…
A current NMC registration (RGN)
Minimum 6–12 months recent Theatre / Scrub experience in a UK hospital
Experience across multiple surgical specialties (e.g. General, Orthopaedics, Gynae – desirable)
Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary theatre team
Valid ILS certificate (preferred but not essential)
The right to live and work in the UK
Evidence of full vaccination history

Experience:
Theatre / Scrub Nursing: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
NMC (required)
