Bluestones Medical is currently seeking an experienced Cardiac Scrub Nurse to join our growing team, supporting theatre services at Royal Stoke Hospital. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled nurse looking for flexible agency work with excellent pay and consistent shift availability.
Shift Details
- Long Days (LD) and Night shifts available
- Block bookings available for candidates seeking consistency and longer-term placements
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in cardiac surgical procedures as a scrub practitioner
- Prepare and maintain sterile environments within the operating theatre
- Handle specialist cardiac instruments and equipment
- Work closely with surgeons, anaesthetists, and theatre staff
- Ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety are maintained
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RGN) with valid NMC registration
- Proven experience as a scrub nurse within cardiac theatres
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic techniques
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
