URGENT LOCUM PRACTICE NURSE – EVENINGS | SOUTH WESTMINSTER, LONDON
We are in urgent need of an experienced Practice Nurse looking for consistent evening work within a well-supported Enhanced Access service
We are working with a highly regarded Primary Care provider in South Westminster seeking an experienced Locum Practice Nurse to support their Extended Access Hub from 1st May.
This is an immediate requirement, ideal for clinicians looking to supplement income with regular, structured evening sessions.
Location:
- South Westminster
Sessions:
- Monday to Friday
- 18:30 – 20:00 (Evening Clinics)
- Ongoing requirement
Rate:
- Starting from £30 per hour (Ltd/Sole trader)
- Weekly payroll options available
Core Clinical Duties:
You will be delivering high-quality, patient-centred care within a busy Enhanced Access setting, including:
- Cervical Cytology (Smears)
- Childhood Immunisations
- Phlebotomy
- Wound Care & Dressings
- Asthma Reviews
- IM Injections
- Urinalysis
- Chronic Disease Support (Diabetes, MH, LD Reviews)
- Foot Checks & Management
- Zoladex Injections
Desirable (Not Essential):
ECGs, Ear Syringing, Travel Vaccinations
Essential Requirements:
- NMC Registered Nurse
- Primary Care / GP Surgery experience
- Up-to-date training in core PN competencies
- Confident working autonomously in clinic settings
- SystmOne experience
Compliance Requirements
- Smartcard
- DBS (within 3 years or on Update Service)
- Right to Work in UK
- Proof of Address (x2 documents)
- Full Immunisation Record (including Hep B, MMR, BCG, Varicella)
