Everyone who is of has worked within the healthcare industry will be aware of how important and how much we rely on overseas nurses.
Overseas candidates are some of the most amazingly skilled healthcare professional including nurses, doctors and consultants.
The Nursing and Midwifery Council have released figures showing that this year has proven to be the biggest annual growth on the register.
Although this growth is clearly a positive, can this be sustained with the current Covid-19 pandemic?
Many restrictions have now been put in place all over the world, including travel and education.
Both of these factors play an essential role in recruiting overseas healthcare professionals and will surely have a detrimental impact. However, the extent to which this actually affects our industry will likely only be seen in the coming months.
