Hi all, I’m Emma. I’ve been with Bluestones for a while now, we’ve likely spoken on the phone. For the last 18months I’ve been the consultant for specialist theatres and recently I have become the consultant for both theatres and community. As a full-time working mum of 2, organisation is key. I’ll be sending out regular emails to remind you to keep your availability up to date, as well as informing you of any annual leave I have. My working hours are 09:30 – 18:30. However, should need anything outside of these hours, please WhatsApp me and I’ll help where I can.
What's new?
Visits
As my theatre candidates know, I love getting out the office and meeting new faces, especially visiting candidates. At Bluestones, we feel it is extremely important to thank our nurses for their hard work.
I have numerous visits booked throughout August and September and will do my best to come and see you all. As much as I’d like to surprise you, I will inform you of when I’ll be visiting and will ask you about any dietary requirements.
Commmunication
Having received feedback from a lot of you regarding previous consultants, the main topic discussed was lack of communication. I can assure you, that you will have a different experience with myself looking after you. I want to give you all the service you deserve and want. To do so, I need to know what each of you want. Do you want a weekly phone call to check in? or would you prefer a WhatsApp or an email?

Marvel of the month
Marvel of the month – Every month, each consultant nominates a candidate who has gone above and beyond, someone who truly reflects all of our values. Each winner receives a gift voucher and we’ll celebrate them on our social media platforms. For the month of July, I am proud to share that our winner for the community desk is the wonderful Gina.
