Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) – Locum Opportunity
Location: Hertfordshire (Two Practice Site)
Start Date: April 2026
Rate: £50 per hour
Contract Type: Ongoing Locum
We are currently seeking an experienced and clinically confident ANP/ACP to support a well-established, two-site GP practice in Hertfordshire.
This opportunity is ideally suited to an ANP looking for consistent weekly work, with Mondays as the core working day, alongside additional ad hoc sessions on particularly busy or challenging days (to be agreed in advance).
Role Overview

Deliver high-quality, patient-centred care within a primary care setting

Manage a broad range of clinical presentations across all age groups, including frail and complex patients

Conduct autonomous assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and prescribing

Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team across two practice sites
Key Requirements

Qualified Advanced Nurse Practitioner with relevant primary care experience

Independent Prescriber (V300) – essential

Confident managing acute, chronic, and frailty cases
-
Experience working with diverse patient demographics (paediatric to elderly)

Ability to work autonomously and adapt to varying clinical demands
